O título levanta imediatamente a possibilidade: será que a Apple está planejando lançar uma Retail Store no Brasil, depois da chegada da sua Online Store? É possível. Eu não duvido nada que nosso país esteja numa lista interna da empresa, mas Deus sabe para quando — afinal, ainda existem muitas nações “de Primeiro Mundo” que não receberam suas lojas oficiais da Maçã.
O fato é que, desde o mês passado, existe uma vaga em aberto para São Paulo, referente a um gerente de programas de marketing de varejo (Retail Marketing Programs Manager). A posição é de turno integral e tem objetivo de estimular o crescimento de negócios iPod & Mac através da inicialização, coordenação e implementação de programas de vendas e marketing.
As responsabilidades do profissional incluem ações de merchandising, planejamento de mix de marketing no varejo, gerenciamento de orçamentos e geração de demandas. “O RMPM agrega valor ao time de varejo local, alinhando a região à estratégia de programa de varejo da Apple da América Latina, aprimorando assim o lançamento de iniciativas latino-americanas”, afirma a empresa.

Merchandising:
- Manage quarterly merchandising plan and manage relationship with local implementation agency
- Execute merchandising programs at sales floor level in the field
- Negotiate with retailers and our internal organization the best in-store product placement, in line with our sales and brand strategies
- Together with Latin America teams, design and execute planograms at partner retail outlets
- Coordinate openings of shop-in-shop and POS excellence programs
- Ensure the best practice in POS appearance at our retailer partner stores in compliance with Apple guidelines
- Manage distribution of POS sales collateral in local market.
Demand generation:
- Drive our marketing budget to execute quarterly demand generation and communication plans
- Coordinate and negotiate with retailers and our internal organization promotional activities, channel communication, flyers, with the right product positioning.
- Support improvement of retail distribution in line with local sales representatives and account executives
- Deliver market intelligence to sales teams based on feedback from customers and partners
- Manage daily activities with external agencies
- Coordinate field marketing activities and manage ROI analysis.

- Minimum 4 to 5 years experience in trade marketing with a strong background in in-store merchandising programs.
- Attention to detail and passion for design is a must.
- Knowledge and passion for consumer electronics is a must
- Strong understanding of local retail environment and channels
- MBA or equivalent graduate degree required.
- Fluent english, both written and spoken
- Motivated team player who enjoys working under pressure and rising to challenges
